Kristin is a commercial litigator who has been involved in a range of business cases, raising issues of civil RICO, consumer protection, breach of contract, and unclaimed property law, among others. Kristin also has experience conducting post-judgment collection proceedings following successful adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court.
While attending law school, Kristin was a Judicial Extern for the Illinois Appellate Court, independently researching and drafting opinions and memoranda of law. Kristin also volunteered to provide basic legal services to pro se litigants through the Self-Help Web Center, a collaborative effort between Dorothy Brown, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County, the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and Chicago-Kent College of Law’s Center for Access to Justice and Technology.
